At 6AM, we like to say we “think differently.” We look at our clients and try to get inside their brands, mold their websites, make their ads pop off the screen or stand out when you’re driving down the highway. I like to think we’re able to do all this not just because we have the best team of professionals, but because we work together.

Being a small business can be challenging at times; it’s like working with your family, but there is no storming off when “mom” or “dad” says something you don’t like. Working with your family also means we love coming to work every day. Our staff meetings are lively gatherings where we talk about our recent adventures, the struggles of sending our kids to college or even just share weekend plans. When we get down to business, everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves to create concepts that blow our clients away. There’s a lot of respect and collaboration that you just can’t get with a massive company.

I’ve been a small business owner for nearly 14 years, and I can say without hesitation it’s the best job in the world.

Small Business Saturday is a yearly event that highlights something truly inspirational about being a community business. Instead of heading to big brand stores, shoppers instead walk inside a quiet coffee shop, a locally-owned boutique or try out a specialty store they have been walking by for months. Shopping local doesn’t just help these businesses, it helps keeps jobs within the community and allows towns and cities to thrive.

6AM is proud to be a small, locally-owned business. We encourage all the members of our community to shop small this Saturday in support of small businesses.
