Job Description

6AM is looking for a full-time idea machine. If selected, we’ll want you to think it, write it, and activate it -- across different media platforms and customer experiences, from social to television, print to radio (No airplane banners … yet) From day one, you will be responsible for concepting and executing ideas, big and small, and mastering myriad copy for a variety of clients, voices and uses. From universities to hospitals to consumer apps… you will be involved in collaborating with a killer team to ensure that every word is on brand and on strategy. We’re a tight-knit group of fearless thinkers (and doers) and always ready to make what’s next.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a copywriter (agency experience strongly preferred, but not required)
  • Familiarity with writing for a diverse set of industries
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate
  • Comfortable speaking to a group
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience with proofreading
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital creative expressions
  • Undergrad degree in writing preferred, or like industry experience with proficiency in grammar, spelling, tone and sentence structure
  • Excellent sense of humor (dry, slapstick, dark, nerd, etc.—we’re open to all)
  • Working knowledge of SEO
