SITUATION

Centerline International is the leading seller of Alfa Romeo car parts, accessories, and apparel worldwide. The company’s wish list for a new website was topped by improved eCommerce functionality, along with responsive design and a more engaging experience overall.




SOLUTION

We overhauled Centerline’s online store, tailoring our CMS Store Catalog Manager app to suit the client’s needs. The system features:

  • Product pages displaying new photography and related items
  • Ability to search products by keyword, SKU, model/chassis and category
  • A streamlined checkout process that more closely aligns with Centerline’s business model and is easier for customers to use
  • Optimized SEO for product pages
  • Inventory management via spreadsheet upload

With the eCommerce system humming, we went about creating a dynamic-looking, engaging, responsive site by incorporating a fun primary font, a color scheme built around a bright red, and lots of imagery of cool cars.




RESULTS

The year after the launch date saw a whopping 57% increase in page views over the prior year. The bounce rate declined 2.5%, to 31%, and the average session duration went up 18.5%. Our organic SEO approach has allowed more pages to be found, and the related products feature helps to guide users through the site — both contributing to increased sales.
